Why does it have to be so hard?
You want to achieve your big ass goal. You know you can do hard things – you’ve done a ton. But damn, you just don’t want it to be hard anymore. Isn’t there an easier way? Haven’t you earned that? Yes, you want to make some changes, but you don’t want to have to hate yourself to get there. You’re tired of having a drill sergeant inside your head. Isn’t there a gentler, more peaceful way? You know that peace is a good thing. You want it for the world, for other people. Why don’t you want it for yourself? Oh, and why do you have to sacrifice everything else that is important just to be able to focus on achieving this goal? Hint: you don’t.
Success Without Struggle
A twelve-week individual coaching program that teaches you a new life skill – how to achieve any goal without struggling.
This program is all about teaching women how to achieve their personal goals – whatever they are, big or little, in a new way; one that is easier, gentler and more peaceful. And you know what? It’s so much more effective!!!
We will have weekly calls that will take you on a coaching journey to the destination of your choice (um, that’s your goal). We’ll use a combination of neuroscience, spiritual woo, fun, and even planning tools to create a map for your trip.
First, we’ll ferret out what has been causing the struggle, sabotage and failures (hint: it’s an inside job) and get rid of them.
Next, we’ll replace them with the thoughts, beliefs and actions that you need to have to succeed – peacefully, with struggling.
THEN we’ll use strategic and tactical tools to create a personal action plan and your support plan.
You’ll have what you need along the way to overcome your personal obstacles: individual coaching, daily practices and as much woo woo stuff as you want.

Last November I casually responded to an offer for coaching I found on Facebook, with just a glimmer of what was being set in motion by signing on for coaching with Maggie. Though it's only been six months, I feel like I have lived lifetimes, given all the growth experienced through our work together. Maggie's unique blend of spiritual coaching + neuroscience has helped me see things in new and more empowering ways, which has led to drama-free changes that have brought me into greater congruence with myself. And, have freed up time, energy and attention so that I can pursue goals that felt out of reach prior, including the launch of a new Summer Academy based on a university course I teach. Something that's been on my list for the last five years, and that is happening this summer in three different ways. Whatever Maggie is offering, she will exceed it in incredible ways, providing the structure, support and insights needed for foundational change, so you can build the life you most desire.
Maggie Huffman saved my bacon. I went to her with a complex issue I couldn't see to the core of, much less see a path out to the other side. She very calmly and methodically, but with an abundance of heart and soul and humor (how in the heck does she do that?) showed me how to find my own way. That's one of the big things I appreciate about Maggie—she uses her smarts and experience and intuition to show me my way. In the end, when I actually did step through the other side of that (former) problem, I felt like I had done it myself, and I had, but Maggie whispered in my ear the whole way to guide me to come home to myself. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Maggie really helped me to see how I was choosing to think about everyday situations with a view that wasn’t the truth. She made me laugh over and over as she helped me to see how I was creating my own upset and making things about me. She gave me incredible tools to shift my view and attitude that truly lifted away the upset and irritation that I constantly had. It was like a switch was turned on and I could see it all so clearly - and with a light heart and loving attitude. I had so many moments throughout this time that I was literally able to transform the mood and love my whole family felt in simple but meaningful ways. Low and behold, when you’re feeling this great, it’s amazing how much easier it becomes to make great choices around food and your heath. Right!?! Not only did Maggie create a no-judgement zone for her views of me but the best gift was that she helped me to have a much more compassionate, judgement-free zone for myself. I was able to reconnect with a part of myself that is happy, fun and full of life and love. I could viscerally feel how the love filled in and crowded out the food. It became less necessary to buffer my feelings because I was able to react to typical life moments with so much more love and compassion for my husband, my kids, and, most of all, myself.
As a podcast host, I interview a lot of coaches and I wanted to see what that experience felt like. I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect and I was afraid to be as vulnerable as I thought I would have to be. When I hung up the phone after that first coaching session, I was extremely glad that I had taken the leap of faith and was being coached by Maggie. Not only did she help me work though some issues, but she helped me gain insights on how to approach the same issues from a different light. I couldn’t have asked for someone more suited to coaching than Maggie!! And when the need arises, I wouldn’t hesitate to jump back into being coached by Maggie!!
Working with Maggie on weight loss was the best thing I ever did for myself. When we began the process, I was frustrated and anxious and defeated, because I wanted to see that magic number on the scale, and no matter what I did, I could not lose weight. All the “diets” that worked for everyone else, didn’t work for me, and I felt like a failure. After her amazing coaching, I realize that what I really wanted was to find peace around food, to quiet the negative self talk about my weight and my body, and to be healthy and strong. I have achieved all those things and more.
I was a bit hesitant going into this, as I have never worked with a life coach before. However, it was a truly rewarding experience and I recommend that everyone should try it, at least once. Having to check in with Maggie every week and being willing to speak openly and honestly with someone really helped me focus on accountability. Delving into the motivations behind why I ate what I did actually helped me discover things far beyond just my diet, I had begun to look at my career and general lifestyle in entirely new ways. It was incredibly empowering to realize that my choices are entirely mine to control, I’m not helpless, nothing is impossible. This was a genuine life-changing experience for me and I couldn’t have done it without the help and wisdom Maggie shared. Maggie’s true gift as a life coach is helping us unlock the greatest tool we have at our disposal, our minds.
